Panoramic Views

The Rocky Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to this former homestead land settled by the Cranston family. The community is perched on a ridge overlooking breathtaking natural surroundings.

Wherever you look there are panoramic mountain, downtown skyline and river valley views. Gentle slopes lead down from Cranston to the Bow River Valley and Fish Creek Provincial Park below. The area is criss-crossed with well-used trails that open up this area.

Fish Creek Park offers birdwatching, hiking and other recreation opportunities. The fishing is world-famous - the Bow River offers anglers Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish and Northern Pike to name a few. Cast a line into the Bow River and see what takes the bait.
